Sergio J. Fernandez-Soto is an associate attorney primarily concentrating his practice in the areas of labor and employment, complex commercial litigation, and civil litigation.

Mr. Fernandez-Soto represents clients on a wide range of employment-related matters such as wage and hour, non-competition, tortious interference, trade secret, unfair and deceptive trade practices, mergers and acquisitions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, FMLA, ERISA, and Title III of the ADA. Mr. Fernandez-Soto advises corporate clients on compliance with Federal and Florida employment laws, helping minimize the risks of liability from lawsuits through preventative measures. He prepares and revises transactional employment documents, including executive employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks, and personnel policies, among others.

Mr. Fernandez-Soto also assists in the representation of real estate developers, private corporations, financial institutions, and corporate officers in complex commercial litigation matters, including prosecuting and defending claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, fraud claims, tort claims, post-judgment collection efforts, consumer disputes related to mortgages and other extensions of credit.

Mr. Fernandez-Soto earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lehigh University in 2014. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2018.
